Management Consultants, founded in 1974 by Walter L. Shuler, CSP #540, is a firm of safety professionals with one primary goal: To assist clients in making quality decisions regarding their overall safety program with both cost-effective and state-of-the-art materials and information. This is accomplished through current safety programs and procedures assembled in a Customized Corporate Safety Manual, Field Safety Manuals, audit work and inspections, on-site safety training, and various other forms of safety consultation.

We have worked in many industries over the years including: warehousing, forging operations, transportation, stevedoring operations, machine shops, food industry, manufacturing (both light and heavy), lumber/paper mills, various utility operations and installations, metal fabrication shops, concrete and paving operations, general and subcontractors of various trades, management companies, pipeline companies, retail operations, school districts, service companies, automotive and airline industries, and many, many more.

The background and qualifications of our current full-time staff members stand alone in the consulting field. We have a combined total of 29 years of Certified Safety Professional service and a variety of other nationally recognized credentials. These include: Associated Safety Professional (ASP), Certified First Aid Instructor, Certified Defensive Driving Instructor, Competent Person for Asbestos, Scaffold Building, Excavations, Electrical Inspections, etc. Also, Certified Audiometric Technician, Certified Radiological Monitor, Certified Mine Safety and Health Instructor and Professional Source Consultant for TWCC. All staff members are active members in the American Society of Safety Engineers.
